HORIZON
Durational Multimedia Dance Performance
HORIZON is multimedia performance installation where bodies, sound, image and space melt intoa durational setting composed by both audience and performers.
As an audience, you are invited to come and go at your leisure to a multi-dimensional live dance performance despite you, yet with you.
We watch together.
We compose together.
We evolve together.
For HORIZON, we collaborated with choreographer Kate Nankervis and Media/Sound Artist Driftnote to create an immersive performance space. I used live video feed of the performers’ bodies, augmenting the space in multiple visual dimensions, creating the sensation of an everchanging, breathing horizon, like watching the moment of dusk before darkness.
