The Incredible Voyage
CINEMATIC INTERACTIVE PERFORMANCE FOR 8-10 year old kids
George Melies is kidnapped and sent to the Planet of Lost Clocks. The three performers find themselves on stage through a timespace shift and enter the world of silent films to save Melies with the help of the audience. A magical journey into the world of Georges Melies with New and Old Media Tools.
For this production all animation material was created from scratch, using green screen and After Effects compositing.
My role in the performance was of performer and live video operator.
Challenges:
Design of the vertical blue screen set-up and combining the dancer’s movements with 2-3 animation layers
